May be in future we can get in touch. * **Position : Automation Test Engineer III* *Location : Pittsburgh, PA* *Duration : 6-12 Months* *Department : Business Systems Support* *Position Summary * The Automation Test Engineer III will be responsible for building a software test automation strategy and implementing of the organization’s automated software testing environment. This individual will help the organization build and maintain an automated test environment that assures quality and reliability in delivering new software across the company. * * *Essential Duties and Responsibilities * * * * List in order of Importance* *% of Time* Interact with Business Systems Analysts and Software Engineers to define and document automated test plans for software products. 30 Responsible for building, managing and maintaining the automated software test environment. 25 Identifies functional problems and suggests resolutions. 20 Build and analyze test cases and provide regular progress reports. 20% Other duties as assigned 5% *Education and Experience * · Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or similar degree preferred. · Web server, OS, and SQL database setup and administration. Experience writing SQL queries. · Knowledge of building and maintaining automated software testing environments and automation tools including HP Quick Test Pro (QTP). · Experience developing and enhancing test plans and procedures that define test strategies and coverage. · Minimum of five to seven years direct work experience in automating software test environments. *Decision-Making Responsibility (if applicable) * · Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills. · Strong communication skills. · Individual must be highly motivated and a self-starter.
