*Lead UAT Tester/Business Analyst*


*Location: McLean, VA*

*Duration: 9 months plus extensions*

*Job description:*

The Test Lead / Business Analyst will be responsible for managing
requirements development, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test case creation
and execution efforts for assigned SFPM projects. This individual will
define the scope of UAT testing within the context of release and will
manage the day-to-day duties, schedule, and priorities of the test analysts.
 This individual will develop detailed test schedules with business and IT
stakeholders, negotiate test scope/date changes, create test status metric
reports, and escalate issues as necessary.  The individual will be
responsible for establishing all mandated SDLC test artifacts, adhering to
processes, creating test beds of data, developing repeatable UAT test
strategies and ultimately executing test plans to ensure that all software
changes satisfy requirements and meet all quality standards.  In addition,
test metrics must be produced and analyzed to ensure project schedule
compliance and to uncover any trends that could indicate software and/or
data issues.  Lead other test analysts in delivering the appropriate testing
artifacts. Develop and conduct a wide range of tests and perform analysis to
ensure that software, systems, and services meet minimum company standards
and defined end-user and system requirements.

Responsibilities:
60% Testing responsibilities

·         Develop an overall UAT Test Strategy for assigned releases

·         Develop and Implement an effective, efficient, and consistent test
process/approach

·         Develop UAT test strategy, test plans, RTMs, test cases/test
scripts, test completion reports, defect reports

·         Identify opportunities for test automation, test process
improvements

·         Lead UAT test execution activities including tracking defects and
reporting any issues/risks

·         Create test beds supporting the constructing of complex testing
scripts, integrating testing tool sets with the overall testing process, and
constructing automated test suites where appropriate

·         Execute manual and automated test cases and ensure capture of
expected and actual results for audit purposes

·         Identify UAT Test environment needs and coordinate test
environment, software releases with technical personnel


40% BA work

·         Work with business area SME to define and document functional
requirements

·         Participate or Lead requirements and design discussions with
project stakeholders

·         Multiple project initiatives within Servicing area


Industry and/or Technical Skills and Experience:
Must Haves:        Top 3/4 required skills with years of experience

·         5+ years experience as a Test Lead / managing a team not just
process

·         7+ years experience in Functional and Regression testing
distributed web-based applications and/or complex financial systems

·         3+ years experience as Business Analyst; specifically requirements
gathering

·         Excellent SQL Skills

·         Firm knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle methodologies

·         Solid knowledge of test methodologies

·         UNIX and Windows Operating Systems

·         Previous experience with applications utilizing HTML,  JAVA, J2EE,
Weblogic, Webmethods, XML, DB2, Oracle, and Sybase

·         Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Visio)
