Necessary Skills :This role is responsible for implementing enterprise wide storage and backup standards as specified in approved BUILD team documentation. This includes: Installation and configuration of storage and backuptechnologies - evaluate installation and configuration documentation to assure accuracy - work with teams to update documentation as needed -testing, profiling and evaluating deployed storage and backup systems -writing technical documentation - Level 3 support of deployed storage and backup systems. This will result in maintaining and improving engineering process, alignment with PBR standards and meeting the needs of the customer in a cost-effective and sustainable manner. Core Technologies include : 1. EMC storage hardware; including DMX, V-MAX, CX700, CX3, CX4 2. Other Integrated Cached Disk Array (ICDA) solutions 3. Fiber channel network hardware; Brocade 4. Network and Storage based data replication solutions 5. High availability and disaster recovery storage based technologies 6.Virtual Tape Library (VTL) Hardware, including EMC and Sun VTLs 7.
