Location : Austin TX REQUIRED SKILLS - At least 7 years of working experience in an environment supporting production Oracle databases (10g) on Windows and Linux operating systems (24x7x365) - Expertise in Unix Shell and Perl scripting; prior experience in designing automation jobs. - Working experience with Oracle Streams, Change Data Capture and advanced replication technologies. - Prior experience in managing remote stand by databases; database backup and recovery using RMAN. - Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality results by prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Exposure to Oracle Data Warehouse concepts is a plus. - Working knowledge in Oracle Enterprise Manager (Grid Control) - Must be a result oriented individual with experience in helping organizations scale their database infrastructure. - Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Sciences or related field.
