*JOB DUTIES:*
This position will provide senior level consulting to a software development
and operations organization that is working to standardize its project
management tracking around Sharepoint 2010. The project team is a broad mix
of information technology professionals and is currently engaged in
development for mainframe and modern web applications. The team has made
limited use of Sharepoint 2007 (primarily as a document repository) and
seeks to expand its use of Sharepoint in a broader sense for general project
management, tracking and workflow tasks.

*The project team seeks an experienced consultant that can:*
1. Quickly assess the team’s needs and recommend a menu of approaches for
successful Sharepoint use in project management;
2. Work with team members to implement the selected recommendations;
3. Train the team’s Sharepoint administrators while working side-by-side
with them;
4. Work with Clemson’s infrastructure and operations teams on Sharepoint
configuration, deployment, and best practices if/as needed.

*The SharePoint Consultant role has three major components:*
assessment and recommendations, implementation, and staff training.
Candidates must display excellence in all areas.
• Proven experience implementing SharePoint2010 for use with software
projectmanagement
• Demonstrated experience configuring SharePoint 2010
• Keen ability to recognize opportunities for process improvement that may
be supported through SharePoint.
• Strong understanding of SharePoint 2010 ¬ its strengths, weaknesses and
ability to integrate with project management process and other IT systems or
tools.
• Understanding and experience expanding SharePoint functionality through
.NET development.
• Understanding of IT development lifecycle processes including development
and testing.
• Ability to work side-by-side with, mentor, and train client’s SharePoint
staff/administrators.
• Superb written and oral communications skills,including the ability to
effectively interact with both managers/senior leadership and software
developers/system administrators.
• Willingness and ability to effectively engage with people and
organizations on a continuous basis.

Knowledge of healthcare and related insurance principles and processes.
Medicaid eligibility system/business operations experience.
Medicaid Management Information System (*MMIS*) experience
Medicaid operations experience.
Public sector and/or academic environment experience is a plus.
Must be senior. Medicaid experience is a major plus
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in technical, business, of field. Master's
degree preferred.
