REQUIRED SKILLS: Responsible for compliance security, audit & change management policies and procedures. Must have experience with IBM/Linux/SUN enterprise hardware and EMC storage Basic knowledge of networking, TCP, UDP, RPC etc. Extensive NIS and NFS knowledge and NFS troubleshooting is a must. Responsible for 7x24 team support rotation (weekdays/weekends) and manage all issues that arise during the period of on-call responsibility. Must able to interface with multiple leadership level, including first-line technical and business managers through senior officers. Volume management software experience (Linux and IBM LVM, VxVM, VxFS, VxFs) is a must. (Veritas Cluster and Cluster File System is a plus) Knowledge to implement and support of GPFS and HACMP technologies Knowledge to implement and support LDAP servers and clients Knowledge of SAN and NAS technologies Working knowledge of Sun Grid Engine is a plus Ability to support Oracle RAC from a Linux operating system perspective. Able to plan & execute new system deployments, OS and firmware/microcode upgrades across the environment Must use Operating system security tools to implement corporate security policies and ensure the compliance of environment by resolving issues/concerns.
