Experience with R12 is a plus. - Installation, configuration, and maintenance of various oracle versions. - Identify, test and resolve database performance issues. - Experience with Red Hat Linux 5. - SQL and PLSQL. - Refreshing of databases using RMAN clone, export/import, and SQL*Loader - Partner with development teams and the business to implement Application Releases. - Backup, Recovery, and Cloning databases using RMAN. - Working knowledge of advanced database replication methods. - Familiar with SDLC and the use of development, QA, UAT, and production environments. - Experience with Oracle Data Guard - Experience with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) - Experience with Oracle Streams - Microsoft SQL Server 2005 & 2008 a plus - Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) is a plus. The Oracle Applications DBA is responsible for supporting, maintaining and upgrading the Oracle Financials application tier and the Oracle Database tier. The work includes maintaining clones and Data Guard instances of various Oracle Applications environments.
