Location: Detroit, MI Duration: 6 Plus Months Rate: $50/Hour C2C The position is responsible for packaging, certifying, and deploying Line-of-Business client software to all North American computers at Ford Motor Credit Co using SCCM software delivery tools. Software packaging with WISE Package Studio, VB Script, SysTracer, and various other tools. Additional responsibilities include providing 3rd-level Client Support, Field testing Global Client and Line-of-Business application releases using the Test Director tool. Certify new client hardware platforms and peripheral devices. Deploy applications using the SCCM console, developing advertisements and building collections. Also, review emerging technologies in different client OS arenas, research best practices, new processes, and procedures and assist in implementing them into the team. Skills Required: - Microsoft Windows 7 - Microsoft Windows XP - WISE Installer - Microsoft VB Scripting - SMS/SCCM Packaging and Deployment tools - Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, and LDAP - Systems analysis - Problem solving - Excellent organizational skills - Excellent communication (both oral and written) skills - High level of motivation, willing to get the job done to meet deadlines - Willing to carry a Support Pager and provide off-hours support as needed - Strong team player and willing to work independently Skills Preferred: - Microsoft Installer Installshield - Test Director and Quality Systems Testing - Strong project management Experience Required: 5+ years working with PC-based Hardware, Operational Support, Operating Systems/Patching/Staging, and Application Software. 3+ years of Client Software Packaging, Testing, and Deployments utilizing SMS/SCCM.
