Need someone Senior- NO OPTs PLS- Rate $70/hr
We are looking for a senior level individual with expert knowledge and solid experience in telephony and networking. The desirable candidate will need to have the skills and perform functions as described below: *Skills* o *Thorough understanding of LAN architecture, packet flow, LAN best practices, OSI layers 1-3.* o *Ability to analyze WAN capacities, utilization and traffic patterns to determine proper/optimal bandwidth size.* o * Thorough understanding of Voice architecture including PBX systems, Key Systems, PRI and T1 circuits as well as LEC copper circuits* o *Understanding of Visio software program to create or modify network documents* o *Ability to quickly understand and analyze existing WAN/LAN and Voice technology configuration and provide recommendation to incorporate the infrastructure components in the case of Merger, Acquisition, Divestiture and Joint Ventures initiatives.* o Willing to travel to work sites as and when needed. *Responsibilities* o Initiate Infrastructure projects designed to improve performance, increase reliability and when appropriate, decrease costs. o Plot 3-5 year Infrastructure projects designed to satisfy Tartan requirements, Life-cycle management or other BU needs. o Communicate budget requirements for Infrastructure related projects to Business Relationship Managers for project roadmap planning. o Interface with Cargill Project Managers to determine project scope and define needed resources and tasks. o Provide advanced LAN/WAN infrastructure troubleshooting to colleagues, subcontractors and vendors. o Provide advanced voice systems troubleshooting to colleagues, subcontractors and vendors. o Provide consulting on data room or data closet specifications as it relates to grounding, UPS systems, HVAC systems, rack systems, locking systems, and initiate work that keep these areas tidy. o Provide consulting and or installation on video conferencing systems for Cargill locations using off-C band circuits. o Install Cisco networking equipment at Cargill locations including but not limited to Routers, Layer 2 and layer 3 switches, and fiber optic components o Install and or configure Cisco or Nortel voice system equipment at Cargill locations including but not limited to Cisco IPT, Nortel PBX and Key systems. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OracleD2K" group.
