We are urgently looking for a Consultant for a direct client as under. Role: SAP MM/PP functional consultant Location: Palo Alto, CA Duration: 6 months Responsibilities: * Responsible for SAP project support including analysis/requirements and project scope documents, business process design and configuration. * Define and implement work procedures, standards, and methods. * Work with other Business Analysts to develop best practices around the integration and deployment of SAP applications within existing architectures in a multi-site environment. * Report and interface functional specifications, training development and execution. * Support business processes as they relate to the SAP PP/MM modules. Additionally, the candidate will need to scale outside of traditional PP/MM disciplines as required. * Develop training scripts and business process procedures. Work directly with users in training capacities. Required skills: * Experience in Logistics Execution, APO and/or Supply Chain Management is a major plus. * Solid skills and experience with requirements analysis and functional specifications for enterprise IT projects. * BS or BA degree in Business, Computer Science or similar field of study required, or five to seven years experience in two or more of the following areas: MM. PP or LE, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * Minimum 6-8 years hands on SAP development work experience. * SAP Academy Certifications are a plus in PP, MM, and/or SCM * Must have 5 + years experience in the SAP PP and MM modules: * Must have experience in the following: o Purchase Requisition & Order Processing o Vendor Managed Inventory o Master data * Material Master, BOMs, Routings, Info records, Source lists, Conditions. o Physical Inventory o Demand Planning and Forecasting o Shop Floor Manufacturing o Production Planning o Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) o Make to Order, Assemble to Order, and Make to Stock Processes. o Serialization o Authorizations o Logistics Information system If this position interests you, please send Word resume with contact details, availability, location, work status, and hourly rate.
