*Senior Interaction Designer and UX Project Coordinator* *Role: Senior Interaction Designer* As an Interaction Designer, you will work closely with engineers and product managers throughout all stages of the product cycle. We're seeking a critical thinker with a good design sense, a strong technical background, and an eye for making improvements; if you're looking for a job where your work can have a tangible impact on the experience of users, then this is the role for you. In this role you’ll be asked to perform both actual design work and the underlying coordination required in a global organization like Thomson Reuters. *Responsibilities:* - Helping to define the user model and user interface for new and existing Thomson Reuters financial products and features. - Developing high level and/or detailed storyboards, mockups and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. - Gauging the usability of new and existing products, and making constructive suggestions for change. - Coordinating UX project activities and resources. Facilitate design workshops with customer stakeholders to arrive at desired user experience · Collaborate to develop wireframes, mockups and prototypes for project teams · Develop compelling design concepts using branding and style guide standards and direction · Design of mobile application screens, including navigation and workflows · Develop user personas and mobile use cases *Requirements:* - Solid academic background in human-computer interaction or related field (BS or MS in Computer Science or related field a big plus.) - Demonstrated experience in designing usable web-based interfaces. - Expert HTML skills. - Excellent knowledge of JavaScript for rapid prototyping purposes. - Strong, clean visual design sense. - Excellent leadership, communication and teamwork skills. - 5+ years’ experience in web and mobile user interface design and consulting - · Ability to communicate very clearly and easily with the project team - · Experience with successful design of user interfaces - · Experience with usability testing and the implications for user interaction - · Able to manage time and multiple projects with short turn-around deadlines - · Experience with consumer-oriented companies, the healthcare industry or related industries a plus - · Strong understanding of graphic design and mobile application development and interfaces (iPhone, BlackBerry and Android platforms) - · Have a solid design portfolio - Experience with Agile project delivery methodologies a plus - Portfolio/samples with the resume.
