Rate: $65/- 1099 or c2c Duration: Long term Location: NYC *Position Description: *Bank Resource Management (BRM) which is responsible for the securitized funding for the entire firm is looking to engage a senior level DB2 consultant to join the BRM Metrics Team in NY. The successful candidate will advise and consult with application developers and management in the design development, and implementation of mission critical metrics and DW projects. *The individual chosen for this position should have extensive knowledge and experience in the following areas:* OLTP and DW database design concepts and challenges SQL programming Database problem determination and resolution management Data modeling concepts and techniques Database design, best practices and procedures Ability to identify and articulate various database design alternatives, gaps, and challenges based upon application requirements Strong understanding of backup/recovery and disaster recovery solutions for both OLTP and DW database applications.
