Please sent resume to * sh...@myprotean.com* *Location: Westminster, CA* *Start Date: Immediate* *Duration:12 months* *Test Planning Engineer* · The Project is looking for a test engineer to develop a test and evaluation master plan (TEMP) to validate the communications system, software and software services, and the cyber security mechanisms employed. · The TEMP must address all aspects of hardware and software testing including unit, component, HW/SW configuration item, integration, and acceptance testing. · Test procedures will be developed using IBM Rational Quality Manager (RQM), and traceable to requirements established in IBM RequisitePro (ReqPro). · The TEMP must address testing in both laboratory and field environments and include a schedule addressing development and test support required from sister projects. *Qualified candidates must meet the following criteria:* Education: A BS degree in engineering, or equivalent experience is essential. Training/Experience: · A minimum of ten years’ experience in HW/SW integration and testing, in test support and lead positions, is required. · Hardware, software, and integration test planning, procedure development, execution, and post-test reporting experience is essential. · Security test experience is desirable. Industry training and experience in software and systems engineering and project management, based on a documented methodology, is essential. · Experience with ReqPro and RQM is highly desirable.
