The application produces client investment summary letters as well as product focused industry Factsheets for marketing and prospecting purposes. The candidate should have superior C# and XML development skills, the ability to analyze and decompose existing code bases and interface with other technologies such as J2EE, Sharepoint, & Oracle/Unix. The Senior Developer should have a thorough understanding of the asset management industry, demonstrate proficient business domain knowledge and be able to independently interact directly with the business community. The role also requires the ability to contribute to a future next generation solution that will replace the existing application. * * *Qualifications* 8+ years of professional experience Strong hands on development experience working with C# and .Net Strong understanding of the asset management and securities industry Microsoft Office Application expertise, in particular with Access/Excel and the creation/maintenance of VBA macros Strong SQL skills and prior experience with Oracle/PLSQL developer tools.
