Job Title: Sr. Java/ J2EE Developer (3 Positions) Location: Raleigh, NC Duration: 6+ Month contract This individual will be part of a successful agile development team engaged in building integration APIs. The ideal candidate will be a fully engaged part of a self-directed team, and as such must be an excellent communicator, collaborator and take personal pride in his/her works. An application programming interface (API) is a <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Source_code> source code-based specification intended to be used as an interface by software components to communicate with each other. An API may include specifications for <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subroutine> routines, <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Data_structure> data structures, <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Class_(computer_programming)> object classes, and variables. An API specification can take many forms, including an International Standard such as <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/POSIX> POSIX or vendor documentation such as the Microsoft <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_API> Windows API, or the libraries of a programming language, e.g. <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standard_Template_Library> Standard Template Library in <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C%2B%2B> C++ or <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Java_API> Java API. Can you help with this 6 month contract? We will need to have all candidates submitted by 3/15 and the manager is looking to do interviews the week of 3/19. These positions will be located in Raleigh, NC and communication is important as well. If the candidate is very strong we may be able to push for an interview next week.
