Must-haves - UIMA, Neo4J, Hadoop, Spring, Hive, NoSQL, WEKA - Solr, Pig, Mahout, Elastic Search, and/or Lucene - Working knowledge of Core Java - Semantic Web concepts and technologies [Web 3.0] - Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environment - Quick learner, detail-oriented, and go-to executer. - Ability to think deeply about tough algorithms and innovative solutions Day-to-Day The ideal candidate will be able to Identity and assess multiple knowledge sources to determine how they can be imported into a UIMA based analytics environment. Client is looking for at least 3 years experience and in-depth understanding of UIMA based architecture concepts and NLP and text analytics, at least 3 years experience in building text analytics solutions including the development of annotators The ideal candidate will have knowledge and implementation of information extraction and retrieval algorithms.
