Title: EMC Backup Engineer Location: Duncan, SC Duration: 12+ Months Details: Seeking an experienced Engineer skilled in backup and archiving to implement, configure, and maintain all backup and archive technologies and support the technical backup and archive environments. Additional Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and enforce backup and archive standards Develop, document, and test Disaster Recovery plans Troubleshoot errors and perform restores Perform scripting and other programming methods for automating processes Perform systems performance monitoring and tuning Experience in installing and working with third party software Qualifications: Expertise in tape/tapeless backup technologies including EMC Avamar, Data Domain, Symantec NetBackup, EMC Networker, and ArcServe Expertise in archive technologies including HDS HCP, ComVault, and HDS storage arrays High-level knowledge of network environments Familiarity with server platforms including Windows, Linux, AIX, Solaris, VM Excellent troubleshooting skills Excellent verbal and written communications -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OracleD2K" group.
