*-->Rational Clear Quest(L1)-*Knowledge on Defect tracking system ?To know
various states of defect through life cycle in clear quest



*-->SCM Tool Administration(L2)-*Multi-location deployment &  support of
the SCM tool. Troubleshooting escalated problems from L1 and provide
solutions. Administration of Repository. Disk Space Planning and
Management. Permissions and access rights management. Resolving scheduled
jobs related issues. Prepare SOPs for L1 tasks in the project. Backup &
Restore. Follow best practices rolled out for delivery excellence. Work
according to schedule and target dates decided by the TL. Develop SCM tool
usage policy. Engineer robust Software Configuration Management platform
for common use throughout the organization. Planning and deployment of SCM
tool across organization. Planning and migration from one SCM tool to
another SCM tool. Integration of SCM tool to other tools which will benefit
the developers.



*-->SCM Build & Release(L2)-*Troubleshoot Build failures. Triage of build
failures. Attends bug scrubs. Independently interacts with QA, PMO & Tech
Support. Work on the Patch Requests. Work according to project schedule.
Participate and implements group decisions. Looks at ways to improve &
automate RE processes. Work on the Patch Requests assigned by others under
close supervision. Work according to schedule and Target Dates. Participate
and implements group decisions. Technically responsible for the quality and
recovery of the setup on failure. Resolve the escalated problems within the
accepted SLAs. Periodical update on the project progress to PM



*-->Build and Release(L2)-*Run/Schedule Builds &  post patches. Patch peer
review as per the documented RE process Knowledge of SDLC (Software
Development Life Cycle) concepts, release/build processes. Working
knowledge of different Unix OSs. Perl, Shell scripting knowledge.
Familiarity with concepts of Make files.
