These tasks include system design, coding, testing, installation, documentation and post-installation audits, all performed in accordance with established standards. Typically, the Programmer Analyst is assigned to multiple business units of small to medium size or one business unit of medium to large size, and/or the project assignments are small to medium scale and moderately complex. * * *Qualifications* Requirements for this position include: a) 5+ years of systems analysis and programming experience b) 5+ years experience in application development utilizing a relational database such as Oracle using procedural languages such as PL/SQL and Unix shell scripting e) Experience developing data extraction, transformation, loading (ETL) routines using prominent ETL tools like Informatica, Data Stage, etc. a plus f) Experience in developing data integration strategies, source-to-target mappings, data lineage, and data transformation logic that can be very complex g) Experience working within a formal methodology for software development h) Full understanding of project management processes and tasks i) Experience in systems design on fairly complex computer systems j) Experience developing and deploying applications in a multi-tier environment k) Experience in full lifecycle including all stages of design, development and implementation of custom applications as well as the deployment of packaged solutions l) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience and technical training, is preferred. *Position #2: Business Intelligence WebFocus Programmer* *Location: Bethpage, NY* *Duration: 6 months RTH* *Rate: 55/hr c2c * *Job description*: To create highly effective, user friendly reports and tools that tie together all of the KPI's across our client's entire line of products and services.
