Dow Jones has kicked off a large project to retire its aging Mainframe and
replace the existing applications. This is an extremely large and complex
initiative which will run for 18 months and involves many IT teams as well
as business units. We are looking for a UAT manager who will be responsible
for all the activities associated with the creation of testing scenarios
and test scripts, as well as the execution of User Acceptance Testing.

Specific responsibilities include:

§ Understand the systems requirements and managing business dependencies.
§ Working with business partners, facilitate UAT Test Case Development from
PRD's and Requirements documents
§ Working with QA, coordinate the development of User Test Cases
identifying gaps and overlaps
§ Coordinate with Program Management the scheduling and execution of User
Acceptance Test
§ Working with business partners, manage prioritization of User Acceptance
Tests, communicate sequence of testing groups and dependencies
§ Working with QA manage on prioritization and sequencing of User
Acceptance Tests based on readiness
§ Drive User Acceptance Testing to completion
§ Set UAT Targets (Entrance criteria based on QA cert targets, interim UAT
targets, UAT signoff/certification)
§ Schedule User Acceptance Testing with all business groups
§ Manage Offer and Account Setup across Circ Ops and business users; work
with QA where tech is involved in account setup
§ Document and report status to business and IT, including metrics
§ Work with QA on defect reporting and resolution; utilize Quality Center
for all user issues; raise high-priority defects in daily QA status meetings
§ Work with Training where users test cases are to be utilized in both
environments
§ Develop and execute UAT mitigation plans when necessary in order to
maintain published target dates
