Project · Few months ago SAS was engaged to migrate Application A from Solaris to Red Hat Linux. At that time only a Production environment was built for that Application. · Our current project involves creating a Test SAS Platform on SAS where we will migrate Application A such that application can have a Test environment. · In addition to the above we also want to migrate Application B from Solaris to the new RHEL Test Platform and then upon successful test migration migrate it on the RHEL SAS Production Platform where Application A is already running. During this migration we will also upgrade SAS to add additional SAS modules that are needed by Application B. · Our internal lead is facing issues migration the Open Metadata repository for Application A on the Test Platform. He is working with SAS support but the issue is unresolved. As a result we are unable to proceed forward. 2. Effort · Assist with SAS Installation and Configuration for the Test server · Assist with the migration of the ISM Open Metadata Repository from the Production server to the new Test server · Verify the Installation and Configuration of SAS and the OMA in the Test server · Assist with the migration of existing ISM data and SAS programs to new Test server · Verify the connectivity between the Clients Enterprise Miner & Enterprise Guide and the Test server · Assist with additional SAS Installation and Configuration for the Production server · Assist in the migration of the Clinical Study SAS data, SAS programs and other SAS output from the current Solaris SAS server running 9.2 (not utilizing the Open Metadata Architecture) to the ISM LINUX Production server running SAS 9.3 · Provide knowledge and guidance in migrating SAS files (if needed) from SAS 9.2 in Solaris to SAS 9.3 in RHEL 5.3 · Provide knowledge transfer of administration tasks to Customer assigned resource 3. Platforms involved · SAS 9.x · Solaris to RHEL migration · Oracle 10g and 11g RAC data sources It will be extremely critical for the consultant to have migration expertise with RHEL and Oracle knowledge. 4.
