Job Title: Sr. Business Analyst w/d Infrastructure Exp Location: Atlanta, GA-must be local to GA Duration: 6-12+ Months Contact GENERAL DESCRIPTION: We need someone with Infrastructure experience must need and is local to Atlanta, GA and can interview Monday. The Business Analyst is responsible for working with the business within IT and with effectively communicating the needs and current processes to come up with solutions. The Business Analyst must be able to communicate easily with business owners and users and IT professionals. Candidates must have a good understanding of project management concepts and techniques and should have the skills to execute the activities necessary to reach the project objectives. This role will serve as organizer, facilitator, analyst, and occasionally as a problem solver. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work and contribute in a team environment are essential, as are outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. The individual will work in an IT infrastructure and security services team environment and will work primarily on infrastructure and security related hardware and software platforms. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Work closely and interact directly with Group business unit stakeholders and IT staff to identify, rationalize and document business requirements; and translate them into functional specifications which detail the approach to address and resolve the business needs. Conduct analysis that identifies current state business process or system inadequacies. Present Ideas for process and systems improvement recommendations that assist the business in achieving its goals and objectives, leveraging best practices and professional experiences. Obtain and maintain a working knowledge of applications, customers and business units. Work with PM's to effectively communicate project status to management and keep business stakeholders informed of project status and all related issues. Communicate with management on impacts to changes in project scope while communicating impact to management and team. Work with team to proactively identify work, communicate and resolve project issues and risks that interfere with project execution or success. Work effectively on multiple assignments, activities or projects. Manage individual work load and assist with defining and prioritizing tasks. Ensure appropriate project documentation is produced. Collaborate closely with and assist application development teams when required to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables. Assist project teams in documenting specifications for application functionality, and documenting and executing test plans and test scripts. Assist other Business Analysts / Quality Analysts as needed or required. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 3+ years in preferred experience in relevant functional areas. 2+ years in adopting various BA methodologies PREFERRED QUALIFICATION: Exposure to IT infrastructure hardware and software platforms and technologies is a plus REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Right-click here to download pictures.
