System and Network Administrator Location: Sunnyvale, CA Duration: 6 months Experience: 2 to 4 years Start: 15-Jul-2013 Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills Complete understanding and experience of configuring new hardware installations on Windows workstations, Mac workstations, UNIX workstations, servers, storage appliances, tape backup system, and networking devices. Ability to communicate orally and written in a professional manner. Require two years of experience handling similar profiles. Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. "Green Card Holder") Political Asylee, or Refugee. Roles and responsibility Support, install and maintain local area networks, server hardware, operating systems, software and related peripherals. Provide technical software, hardware and network problem resolution. Document, research, identify and attempt to solve technical problems (software, hardware, and network) on initial call and/or triage where appropriate for resolution. Document and track support activity and clearly communicate technical solutions in a user friendly professional manner. Resolve issues surrounding installation, applications/systems, functionality, and training on software and/or hardware products. Coordinate work with IT support team remotely.
