*Location: Atlanta, GA* *Duration: Minimum 6 Months* *Primary job function /expertise:* · Setup and configuration of SharePoint services on server. · Setup and maintenance of Outgoing and Incoming mail services. · Setup and maintenance of Internet Information Services within SharePoint (IIS) · Setup and configure Excel Services, Project Server, Power Pivot, Office Web, and InfoPath Services in adherence to governance and licensing procedures and restrictions. · Implement and maintain search services, define search scope in conjunction with Knowledge Managers. · Setup and maintain user profile properties for My Sites. · Ensure anti-virus is kept current and run regular scans to monitor. · Ensure service accounts have been set up correctly. · Ensure expiration of service accounts passwords comply with company regulations. · Plan and manage authentication methods to allow for Single Sign-On. · Manage URL’s to be included and excluded from Search results. · Manage lockdown mode to restrict access. · Liaise with AD team for the creation of security groups for leveraging in SharePoint. · System Updates - install service packs, hot fixes, updates and patches during off-peak time as required –communicate any downtime to business. · Manage and perform upgrades to licensing when required. · Perform ongoing maintenance of web front end and indexing servers. · Perform maintenance of any features, web parts, templates, solutions or third party installs. · Monitor network bandwidth issues and escalate to applicable team. · Log all calls received. · Assist Helpdesk with SharePoint support calls they are unable to resolve. · Error identification, investigation and resolution. · Ongoing research to determine SharePoint best practices for scalability and maintenance.
