Job Title: Jr.COBOL Developer Location: Bedford, NH Duration: 6+ Months Contract *Rate :$35/hr On C2C* *Job Requirements * Responsible for analyzing the functional business applications and design specifications. Develops block diagrams and logic flowcharts. Translates detailed design into computer software. Codes, tests, debugs, maintains and refines the computer software to produce the required product. Enhances software to reduce operating time and improve efficiency including but not limited to DB2/CICS, COBOL, Assembler. Prepares required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation. Enhances software to reduce operating time and improve efficiency including but not limited to DB2/CICS, COBOL, Assembler. Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent work experience and 3-5 years experience The person will be responsible to write new jobs in order to integrate foreign consumer lines premium data. Experience work with batch programming using COBOL , DB2 and JCL is required. The position calls for Ad-hoc reporting on the data acquired as well. Knowledge of Micosoft office products - MS Excel and MS -Access is needed.
