*Role: IBM Websphere Technical Architecture * *Location: Oak Brook, IL* *Duration: 9 Months* Responsibilities: Project Overview: Deploy an Oracle Meter Data Management System (MDMS v2.x) to manage smart meter events, reads, and metadata required to support such business functions as validation, estimation, and editing of reads, billing determinant creation, meter event executions while minimizing the custom configuration of the MDMS product. Role Overview: Participate in the definition, design, and documentation of technical environments for the IBM Websphere platform. Develop and maintain build processes for Dev/Test/Prod environments utilizing Microsoft TFS Repository services, and assist with development of architectural standards for developers. Participate in the development of operations architecture to support production monitoring of platform performance, and error & exception logging. Candidate should have the ability to communicate platform configuration requirements to client shared services teams and work with other technical resources to resolve platform issues (ex. performance, configuration). Candidate will also need to perform other duties as part of overall technical architecture team, such as supporting code migrations during Assembly, Integration, Performance, and Operational Readiness Testing. Post go-live, the candidate will also need to support production operations and transition knowledge to an operations maintenance team. Required skills • IBM Websphere technical architecture project experience (more configuration and administration, not programming focused) • Websphere Process Server v8.5, Websphere Business Monitor v8 • Hands-on development experience with Websphere Message Broker v8 and MQ v7.5 are nice to have • Experience designing and deploying WPS in high-availability (HA) cell configurations • Experience configuring and deploying WPS within disaster recovery configurations • Experience applying Websphere fix packs and troubleshooting integration issues • Process Server performance monitoring • Ant Maven build script development experience • Unix shell scripting experience and Unix environments (Solaris 10) a nice to have • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with client personnel and globally distributed developers • IBM Websphere product certification status is a plus -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OracleD2K" group.
