We have a 6 month+ contract in San Jose, California. This position's primary responsibility is for customer service through deployment and support of users PC's and other mobility devices. Other responsibilities include device configuration, troubleshooting problems according to company policies, processes and procedures. This position will also require participation in departmental project work as needed. *Experience Required:* · Strong working knowledge of Windows XP and Windows 7 Operating systems · Comfortable installing, configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft Office Applications · Working knowledge of common networking protocols, services, & devices (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, HTTP, WIFI, Routers, Printers) · Strong Windows troubleshooting skills a must · Strong communication/interpersonal skills (both verbal & written) · Strong organizational skills (detail oriented) · Team oriented but comfortable working independently · Ability to effectively multi-task & be resourceful · Ability to comfortably follow procedures as well as create new documentation as needed *Experience Desired:* · Windows Server 2003/2008 and Windows Virtual Server knowledge a plus · Lenovo/Dell/MAC desktop experience a plus · BMC Remedy knowledge a plus · iPhone/iPad knowledge a plus · MS SharePoint knowledge a plus · Dell hardware experience a plus · Symantec Backup Exec experience a plus *Educational Required:* BS or MIS degree in Computer Science or similar degree.
