Name (Legal Name) Current Location Contact Number Email ID Best Time to Reach You Currently on Project (Yes/No) Reason for leaving (If still on project) Visa Status Availability Rate expected (W2/C2C/1099) *Requirement* *Client: Verizon* *Position: Oracle Apps DBA* *Location: New Orleans, LA* *Duration: 1 Year* *Responsibilities:* * Create and maintains all databases required for development, testing, and production usage. * Perform capacity planning required to create and maintain Oracle databases. * Work closely with system administration as well as application developers to determine optimal requirements for Oracle databases as well as the servers of which the databases reside. * Perform ongoing tuning of the database instances. * Implement and enforce security policies for all Oracle databases. * Perform database re-organization in accordance with system requirements to assist with performance as well as ensure maximum uptime of the databases. * Perform reviews on the design and code frequently to ensure the site standards are being adhered to. * Collaborate with application developers and system administrators to ensure that any new product usage and or release upgrades are implemented with minimal impact to the flow of application development. * Enforce and maintain database constraints to ensure integrity of Oracle databases. * Administer all database objects including tables, clusters, indexes, views, sequences, packages and procedures. *Qualifications:* * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance or related field (or High School Diploma/GED with 4 years equivalent working experience). * 7+ years of experience with Oracle technologies (design, partitioning, security, performance tuning, memory management, SQL tuning, statistics gathering, Application and audit logs, Oracle RAC scheduling, etc.). * Experience in performing RAT (real application testing) and reviewing performance results. * Proven ability to troubleshoot and trace data issues throughout the architecture. * Must be strong in analyzing how Oracle resources are used during SQL executions. * Excellent written and verbal communication. * Ability to write and maintain high quality documentation [image: logo_small] Deepak Khatwani *Bridge Technologies and Solutions* Work : 239-400-2932 Fax : (800) 883-0917 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OracleD2K" group.
