Job Title: SOA Developer Location: (Chandler, AZ/San Fran, CA/Minneapolis, MN/Philadelphia, PA) Duration: Long term The Senior SOA Developer serves as an expert-level technical resource developing, deploying and supporting the Oracle Fusion SOA Suite and Oracle Service Bus implementation and production systems. This position will also include writing best practices and procedures, developing code, code reviews, scripting, and batch processing. This position will provide hands-on support for delivery of artifacts, complex enhancements, and customizations and can include authoring technical documents, designing processes and procedures, defining and documenting setup and configuration, and reviewing new business processes and solution designs to ensure that cross-functional teams fully understand the impact of decisions made during system configuration. The Senior SOA Developer is recognized as a domain expert with service oriented architecture, the Oracle SOA Fusion Middleware stack, Oracle Business Activity Monitoring (BAM), Oracle JDeveloper, and BEPL. This position is expected to participate in the full development life cycle for enhancements and customizations, The Senior SOA Developer has the critical responsibilities of ensuring the quality of the software architecture and function, as well as any enhancements and customizations, The Senior SOA Developer is also responsible to ensure the software is enabled, can operate in production, and be maintained in a cost effective manner after implementation. The Senior SOA Developer will assist in developing production support procedures, including research and resolution, data analysis, error handling, training to support effective and efficient production operations of the system. Req/ Pref Required Bachelor's degree or certificate in Computer Science. Minimum of 7 years directly related work experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware SOA development and Oracle Business Activity Monitoring. Advanced to Expert knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware SOA modules Implementation/Development Experience Proven track record in at least two large system implementation projects, including a project which involved large sets of transactions Advanced knowledge of web applications and programming, database, infrastructure, and information management. Experience working with implementations in a government or civic service environment. Advanced to Expert Level Skills with the following Development Tools and Technologies: Oracle Fusion Middleware, including Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Business Activity Monitoring, and Oracle Service Bus Java / J2EE development BEPL, Oracle Rules Engine JDeveloper Web service development and support XML technologies, such as XSL, Xquery, XSD, SOAP, WSD Experience with Oracle Coherence Cache is a plus. Excellent technical and data analytical skills, collaboration and teamwork skills, and a great service oriented attitude. Excellent communication skills (Oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills are required. Ability to work with both functional and technical personnel. Ability to influence technical discussions and decisions. Ability to perform under pressure, handling interruptions and changes without losing productivity.
