*Title: Java Full-Stack (Node.JS)* *Location: Sunnyvale, CA* *Duration: 9-12 months+* *Job Description:* •Hands-on development across full Stack ranging from front-end to backend. •Integration with enterprise systems, networks and cloud systems using APIs. •Effectively communicate and report critical issues to leadership team in a timely manner • Provide thought leadership, strategy and lead innovation by exploring, investigating, recommending, benchmarking and implementing technologies for APIs. Required Skills: • 6 to 10 years of experience in full-stack software development, preferably using agile SDLC. • Proficiency in Java (1.6 or later), JUnit, database, spring core and groovy on grails. • Experience developing web applications ( expertise in all/most of these ) - Spring MVC, REST, Jackson, Web Services, Apache CXF, SOA, AXIS2, Jquery, HTML, Node.JS, Backbone.JS, Angular.JS. •Experience working with GIT and Maven •Solid understanding of Linux or Unix operating systems with expertise in Bash, Perl, PHP, Python • Experience with ORM with expertise in one of (JPA, Hibernate, TopLink, iBatis) •Good knowledge of Design Patterns, data structures and algorithms • Quick Learner with ability to Multi-task and learn in a fast paced environment Desired Skills: •Experience with Test Driven Development is a big plus •Experience with any of these frameworks or programming paradigms: Play, Akka, Vaadin, Vordel/Apigee, Reactive Programming, Java NIO • Experience with API Development • Experience working in a startup environment using open source technologies •Experience in architecting and building large scale systems requiring high availability and high scalability.
