Position : Microsoft SQL Server (DBA) Location : Saint Paul, MN Duration : 12 months
*Only US Citizen or Green card needed* Description: Engagement Description: Contractor will perform the day to day database administration for the project. Deploy production code Promote code from database to database. Monitor database backup jobs. Monitor database disk space usage. Performance tune databases. Create ad hoc reports. Grant access to different database environments. Remain abreast of information processing technology, department policy, state policy, and federal policy, so that the most current information procedures and techniques are utilized. Participate in research and related activities for the project. Written and verbal assignments given by the Technical Project Director, Senior PM, and Senior Technical Architect will be completed within the timeframes, scheduled work hours, and scope of project as defined by the Project Director. Any changes to the project assignment by the Project Director will be communicated in writing to the Contractor. Perform other duties assigned by the Project Director consistent with the project.
