*Senior Windows Desktop Engineer * Location : Reston VA Duration : 6-10+ Months *Responsibilities:* Selected candidate will be responsible for Level 2/3 Operations Support for the Windows desktop environment .Client is in transition from Windows XP to Windows 8.1.Currently there are about 14,000 Windows XP machines and about 1700 Windows 8.1 machines and the majority of Windows XP machines are expected to be converted to Windows 8.1 within next six months. This position is not associated with the Windows 8.1 migration. It is for supporting XP users and the Windows 8.1 users post migration. *Technical Requirements: * · Experience in administration/support of a large scale Windows environment.
