*Senior Project Manager* Location: Livingston, NJ Duration: Long Term *Description :* The candidate will have overall project management duties and be responsible to deliver on a variety of IT related projects in support of the Finance organization. This will require broad project management background and familiarity with various project management, software development, and process improvement methodologies such as *Agile (Scrum), Waterfall, SDLC, PMI Standards, Lean, DMAIC, and DMADV.* *Requirements & Preferred Skills:* • 8+ years of experience project managing medium to large complex projects in IT • In depth knowledge of systems development projects using both waterfall and agile methodologies • Experience in all aspects of IT projects including initiation, infrastructure, administration, application development, and implementations • Strong project management skills pertaining to IT projects and be able to work independently • Team oriented with good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with co-workers and management • Solid technical background to be able to understand the IT solution being delivered in sufficient detail to drive issue resolution, while maintaining a solid understanding of the high level business drivers and dependencies • Strong time management skills, fast learner, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative and handling multiple projects simultaneously. • Strong understanding of and experience in *PM methodologies, Waterfall/Scrum, and SDLC* • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills – ability to follow, interact with, and lead large group discussions • Comfortable in ambiguous environments and leading the team through problem solving exercises • Analytical and problem solving skills • Expert level knowledge and experience using project management tools(MS Project, PowerPoint, Visio) for developing and maintaining medium to large, complex projects • *PMI PMP certified* • Microsoft PPM experience a plus • In-depth knowledge of GL Systems notably People Soft a plus • *Scrum Master certification a plus* *• Experience as a technology project manager within a banking or financial services organization preferred* -- *Thanks,* *Naresh Kumar .
