The Engineer is responsible for developing complex network solutions to
resolve client problems including defect corrections.  Works primarily in
design, product/vendor evaluation, testing, supporting products and
equipment meet customer requirements. Position implies extensive technical

and leadership skills.  Position works in a variety of disciplines,
development, critical client problem management, defect isolation and
resolution, telecommunication companies, external vendors and software
products in addition to the ability to analyze business processes.



*RESPONSIBILITIES *

•             Provides technical and/or consulting leadership with
extensive knowledge of support, products, applications, methodologies, and
technologies and how these technologies interact.

•             Improve network functionality, quality, or development and
support productivity with advanced network engineering techniques or tools,
utilities, and technology advancements.

•             Review and provide input to technical writers, training
developers on application specific publications, on-line help
implementation, and if appropriate, training class development.



*REQUIRED SKILLS:*

•             7-9+ years of Cisco network support, design and
implementation experience

•             Experience organizing technical information - Write, review
and publish technical documentation.

•             Expert level knowledge of networks, system, programming and
data processing technology

•             Must hold multiple industry recognized certifications such
as:

o             CCIE

o             CCNP

o             CIPT

o             CCDA

o             CCNA

o             MCSE

assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team.

The Programmer is responsible for developing Web applications supporting
the business objectives of the Development Services Agency. The Programmer
delivers work products in all stages of the software development life
cycle: business analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing of
all application code owned by the Application Team. Programmers typically
are involved in user acceptance testing, maintenance (including production
support), enhancement and development work.

Programmers have a range of skills and knowledge of the technologies used
and applications supported by the OCEAN Team. The Programmer works with the
Functional Architect and Technical Architecture Specialist on an as needed
basis to ensure that design and code meets customer requirements

*Required:*

- 7 years of programming in ASP .Net Framework 4.0 and greater, C#, using
Microsoft Visual Studio

- 10 years of building relational databases in SQL Server including
2005/2008 R2

- 5 years of programming in Javascript

- 10 years of developing process flow diagrams and other documentation in
Visio or PowerPoint

- 7 years of strong communication skills, communicating with end users in
non-technical speak

- 7 years of preparing user acceptance test plans and scripts and
overseeing user acceptance testing
