Our preference is that the resource would have this background as well, but it is not required, what we need most is a very strong UX Designer. • Must have experience working with prototyping tools such as Axure, Balsamiq, or iRise. *Position: Ruby Developer* *Location: Reston, VA* *Duration: 9 months* *Need Local's who can do face to face interview* The Ruby Developer will be a member of a development and architecture team within video engineering The developer will include working with the business units and vendors to develop and implement new systems and network designs, deploying new systems and software, developing ways to automate day-to-day systems administration and operations activities, and building or integrating any necessary reporting, monitoring, and analytics functions. The primary application the developers will be working on initially is a problem logging and resolution dashboard that manages the issue from initial entry allowing a tier 1 NOC engineer to select the parameters of the problem opens a chat blog allowing tier 2 and tier 3 engineers to communicate and see work performed on issue to date. The developers will join a team of 12 consisting of a manager, a front end UI developer, and other Ruby developers. Ability to fit and integrate with the team will be a large decision factor. The primary work will be mostly getting data to the front end, there will be very little front end work and mostly API type work.
