Java Developer (Mid-Level)

Location: Washington, DC. (Direct F2F)

Duration: 1+ yr



*POSITION SUMMARY:*

An immediate opportunity exists for a mid-level Java Developer to join a
fast-paced, Agile-environment development team.

You will be an integrated member of a team responsible for performing all
the tasks essential to delivering a quality product in a timely manner.

You must be a well-rounded developer, able to perform at a high level of
productivity in a fast-paced development environment.





*QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:*



•          Experience developing Adobe Flex applications.

•          Experience developing Java-based web services.

•          Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).

•          Experience with Java XML Parsing (DOM, SAX, SOAP).

•          You should be innovative, creative, flexible, self-directed, and
understand how to design and write elegant, high-performance, reliable and
maintainable J2EE/J2EE applications code.

•          Familiarity with modern software development methodologies,
understanding of core J2EE design patterns.

•          Desirable: experience in Spring, Hibernate, JSF, Tapestry,
LDAP/JNDI/JAAS, AJAX & advanced JavaScript/DHTML, understanding of security
and web policies for DoD, use of Eclipse, SVN, Ant, Maven, JUnit, WebLogic,
JBoss, JSR-168 Portlets.



*Required Qualifications:*

•          Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information
systems, or related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education
and experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

•          Experience working with design and coding languages.

•          Experience working with software design principles.
