Position: Senior SQL Developer Location: Wilton, CT Type: 1 year contract The Senior Developer is primarily responsible for database design and development on Microsoft SQL Server back end and web based front end applications. We can flexible on the .NET experience in a contractor and really zero in on SQL Server skills. In a contract, I’d like more SQL Server experience because I needs someone to hit the ground running. To reiterate, we’re looking for experience with large data sets (ours are typically 100s of millions of rows up to a billion). Backend, High Volume Applications. Optimization Exp. Key Responsibilities: Interact with the Business to understand needs and design / build effective solutions Design and develop SQL Server solutions / back ends for in-house software applications using T-SQL Design and develop n-tier web based solutions based on business requirements Work with the Data Architect, Business Solutions Architect and Technical Solutions Architect on implementing functional requirements of our various applications Interact with Quality Assurance personnel during system testing phases of application development. Develop multi-tier web applications.
