Tech Architect/Lead for Oracle EBS R12.2.4 Upgrade Location : Santa Ana, CA Duration : 6+ months
Role Definition : Tech Architect/Lead for Oracle EBS R12.2.4 Upgrade Project 1. Senior, seasoned technical lead/architect with a minimum of 15+ years of experience with delivery of multiple Oracle EBS projects full life-cycle experience. 2. Upgrade Project experience in a technical lead role is a must (R12.2 any specifically into R12.2.4 would be a very very big plus) 3. Leading/Managing offshore team, providing direction to offshore lead and developers in the context of RICEW development and CEMLI remediation. Ability to estimate, plan, prioritize work, track & resolve issues, track progress and report. Instance/Infrastructure requirements for code development and remediation. 4. R12.2.4 technology, architecture, code standards, code migration, overall landscape knowledge, knowledge of differences compared to earlier R12 versions. 5. Ability to interact with project leadership and stakeholders and provide direction from an overall technical architect perspective. Ability to set and manage to expectations as per the work plan. 6. Ideally will be located in California and/or West-Coast. 7. Will be a contractor initially, open to contract-to-hire within CSC. 8. 3 months to begin and can be extended. 9. Functional knowledge of Oracle EBS modules such as OM, Inventory, Purchasing, Financials and any CRM Telesales experience in the context of RICEW/CEMLI remediation. 10. Experience with SQL, PLSQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, XML Publisher, Oracle Workflow, Application Object Libraray...etc. Ability work with developers and provide direction in the above context. Code remediation and retrofit experience in the context of upgrade. Experience with R12.2 online patching and it's impact on custom code...etc., tools such as SVN (version control systems), Kintana...etc. Patch analysis...in the context of upgrade and custom components...etc. Knowledge of topics such as Schemas, Tables, Synonyms, Functions/Procedures, Views, Triggers, Packages, Reportrs, Materialazed Views, Forms, SQL Scripts, SQL Loaders, Concurrent Host, Alerts, Concurrent Host, PLL's, Framework Function, Concurrent Reports, Concurrent SQL Script...etc basically ability to understand, troubleshoot and guide team of developers from a management perspective. 11. Work with DBA's as required for any issues arising out of custom code/schema during upgrade. 12. Flexible work schedule to accommodate the offshore hours.
