*Project Location* *St. Paul, MN or Boise, ID* *Duration* *6+ Months/ Contract * *Interview mode: - Phone + Skype Visa: Any * *JOB DESCRIPTION * *DELIVERABLES: (Summary of high-level tasks for this engagement)* · Manage the testing team and provide guidance, leadership and mentoring to team members at onsite and offshore. · Develop the testing strategy, test plan, resource requirements, and project schedule for the testing effort. · Identify opportunities to minimize project risks and escalate as appropriate. · Maintains and promotes a comprehensive understanding of enterprise testing policy and best practices. · Tracks and reports test status and quality metrics to project, support, functional, and leadership teams. · Ensures test activities have been completed according to plan, solutions meet the business requirements, function as designed, and are free of defects. · Builds out and maintains a repository of reusable test assets for a functional area, including regression test suites, to streamline and facilitate testing efforts. · Participates and provides feedback in requirements and use case reviews, code walk-throughs, internal design reviews, and checkpoints to ensure quality in all phases of the software development lifecycle. · Generate monthly and quarterly testing metrics. Communicate and deliver metrics to the project teams and management.
