This is 3rd level support with a focus on Active Directory. *Well experienced in scripting like powershell, VB scripting* Skill sets for a MS Engineer Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012, Active Directory, DFS, File and Print Services, Group Policy, Certificate management Processes. Experience troubleshooting and supporting windows operating systems and AD environment in a last stop support position for incidents (examples Sev1, Sev2, Sev3 incidents and deadlines) Design, Implementation, and administering TCP/IP-based services, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SSH, print services, and other infrastructure components as required for large-scale systems implementations and projects. Advance ability with scripting with one or more of the following: VB, Perl, Kixstart, NETSH, Batch, and PowerShell. Advanced PowerShell scripting with a focus on reporting and automation of deployments and configurations experience is a strong plus Experience in Evaluating, Assessing, Documenting, Planning, Designing, and Implementing: Fault Tolerant, Highly Available, Backup and Disaster Recovery Solutions using technologies such as TSM as well as evaluating system health utilizing Network Log Monitoring and Performance Monitor reports. Functional Knowledge of vendor agnostic data storage usage and best practices using SAN, NAS, VMDK, RAID(0-6).
