The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background with strong analytical skills and be able to work well in a team environment. The scope of the work includes business process analysis, solution design, Salesforce development and data migration. The Senior Salesforce Developer will understand the business models, organizational structures and technology environments of our internal customers in order support their growth and deliver measurable benefits through the intelligent use of Force.com capabilities. *Key Responsibilities* Create and manage custom objects, fields, and formulas Develop and maintain custom reports Develop and maintain dashboards Develop and maintain validation rules and custom workflow Create custom Visual Force pages, Apps, Triggers, Classes, Script s, Web Services, Workflows Building and maintaining integration components to transition data from local systems (e.g. by building ETL jobs with Informatica) Participate in the integration process with other enterprise systems (e.g. by developing in-house web services) Audit, uncover and resolve data integrity issues Complete bulk imports of data Batch reassignment of accounts and opportunities based on organizational changes Recommend best practices Recommend, implement, test, and deploy Apex classes and triggers Manage the SF instance using the standard aspects of the Salesforce Integrate Salesforce with other third party solutions/AppExchange utilities, such as Drawloop and Docusign 5+ years of experience as a Java or C# programmer 2+ years of experience developing applications for the Salesforce.com platform *Desired Skills & Experience* Strong technical skills including Apex Triggers, Workflows, Classes, Visual Force or Sites pages, Rules , Web Services, Saleforce.com Metadata API etc. using code authoring tools such as Eclipse IDE, Visual Studio. Strong working knowledge of Apex, Visual Force, Salesforce APIs, SOQL and the Force.com platform Experience developing utility programs with MS batch scripts, powershell, ftp/sftp protocols. Experience with ETL tools like Informatica, DTS or SSIS. Experience working with Relational databases such as MS SQL Server or Oracle. Experience with web services development, SOAP, AJAX, JSON (preferably within the Microsoft framework, e.g. WCF) Experience in troubleshooting SOAP and other schema errors from external WSDL (Web Service Definition Language) files (external application) Experience with integrating with DocuWare ECM, ECM Toolbox & ApplicationXtender or other ECM platforms Experience implementing Single Sign on (federated and delegated) Experience in integrating with Mainframe solutions, and solutions provided by external partners Experience working with an infrastructure team to validate system architecture, networking and server requirements, and to troubleshoot basic issues at a server level.
