*Sr. Oracle Golden Gate Administrator* Location: Cumberland, RI, Interview: Will hire over the phone Duration: 6 months plus.. ****Must have excellent communication skillsMust have Golden Gate certificationMultiple Positions - 3+ openings*** * Position Summary The Golden Gate Administrator - Senior is a highly skilled technical position that involves intricate knowledge of the Oracle Golden Gate product. You will perform critical functions such as installing configuration, tuning, maintenance, patching, and problem diagnosis and resolution. The Golden Gate Administrator - Senior will also manage all aspects of the Golden Gate design; implement and support in development, UAT, and production environments; and identify and resolve Golden Gate problems occurring in all database environments including performance related issues (i.e. database & SQL tuning). You will also assist with performance and Disaster Recovery testing. Required Qualifications: * Minimum of 5 years’ experience with installation, configuration and maintenance of Oracle Golden Gate. * Experience with Oracle to Oracle replication. * General Database Administration skills. * Proven success as a team player evidencing willingness to dig in and do what it takes to make the team successful. * Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of teams and management. * Highly organized, ability to multitask. * Strong ability to diagnose issues and problem solve. * Evidence of making successful logical, decisive decisions. Preferred Qualifications Minimum of 10 years’ experience working with mission critical Oracle databases in a high profile type of organization. Experience with other replication technologies (Streams).
