*Job Title: Python Developer  *

*Location: NYC,NY*

*Length:  6 months *



GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Primary responsibility is gathering and correlating data that will be
used for monitoring instrumentation for a new UCS datacenter

• Development in Linux/Python

• Work with a group of 6-10 other infrastructure people that own hardware,
storage, network, etc. to get a good / decent logical understanding of a
data center

• Work and understand disparate yet related data sets and be able to
correlate them together in a meaningful time series format.



REQUIREMENTS:

• 6+ years of professional software development experience

• Understanding of Functional Programming Concepts

• Ability to start green field projects and propose designs

• Experience in Linux/Python Dev

·        Good logical understanding of a Data Center

• Experience is working and understanding of disparate yet related data
sets and be able to correlate them together in a meaningful time series
format.



BUSINESS ACUMEN:

• Experience with Infrastructure/Datacenter monitoring and creating
instrumentation data.



EDUCATION OR CERITIFICATIONS:

• Master of Science or Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer
Engineering or similar certifications to support technical knowledge
