Must to have 6-8 year experience. Qualified candidates should have experience with MySQL as well as a strong DBA background in production database administration including proficiency in installation, upgrade and configuration of Cluster and non-cluster databases. 2. This is a 24x7 Operations requirement. Candidate should be flexible to work in shift 3. Understand MySQL Architecture 4. MySQL Administrative Clients mysql, mysqladmin, mysqlimport, mysqlpdump 5. Perform the MySQL start and shutdown operations 6. Perform backup and restore operations utilizing multiple MySQL tools 7. Use stored routines and triggers for administration tasks 8. Understand data locking concepts and the different levels of locking in MySQL 9. Use the INFORMATION_SCHEMA database to access metadata 10. Install and Upgrade MySQL for the most common operating systems 11. Utilize the MySQL Administrator Graphical User Interface (GUI) to manage a MySQL server 12. Improve performance through query optimization 13. Utilize MySQL monitoring tools to improve server performance 14. Evaluate data types and character sets for performance issues 15. Setting Up Master Slave Replication 16. Experience of Creating the database, tablespaces, users, data objects, and granting access privileges. Managing Physical and Logical Database Structure. 17. Hands on experience and good knowledge in performing export, import to reorganize the Database Backup & Recovery through third party or cron job.. 18.
