This is in reference to the following position. ***** Please find below job description if you feel comfortable please revert with updated resume, Rate and contact details ASAP ***** *Job Title: Transition Manager Job Location: Alpharetta, GA Job Duration: 6-12 Months Contract / Full Time.* *Client: Hexaware Technology * Required skill Service transition experience Job Summary Transition manager is responsible for the *service transition activities related to the firm’s infrastructure and application solution projects. *The main activities are to assure the *smooth ongoing operation and support of the solution from the Collaboration project delivery team* to the Operational support functions who will support the solution through business as usual (BAU) support. This role will deliver against the transition scope and plan for assigned Skype for Business project(s) which is/are delivering global extended service offerings for COMPANY end users through the implementation of various technologies. These extended service offerings include, though are not limited to, *Unified Messaging voicemail extension to Exchange, integration with local country PBX, telephony inbound and outbound dialing by country*. These and other projects within the program are in scope of transition planning. Essential Functions of the Job: · Responsible for planning and overseeing the transfer of kCompany information necessary for the support, operation and acceptance of solutions deployed into production. This includes operational readiness, operational acceptance testing, support documentation and acceptance checklists. · Ensures service transition is planned and executed to schedule, budget and scope · Deliver against the transition plans including infrastructure/application support models, change management, learning & communication deliverables · Contribute to the business readiness plan, taking into consideration IT deployment, data migration, capability deployment (training and engagement activities) and any business activities required to integrate new processes or jobs into the ’business as usual’ environment · Monitor the effectiveness of installations and ensures that appropriate recommendations for change are made · Access, analyze, develop, document project changes based on requests for change with support from the project delivery team. · Work closely with: M&C Transition Lead to establish end-to-end project plan and approach and identify risks/issues Business and IT partners on release scheduling and communication of progress Operations managers to achieve successful transition of project deliverables into Production support Communications and change management resources within COMPANY Global Services Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities: · Ability to assess service transition risks · Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the process competency principles and practices · Ability to identify and escalate project risk · Develop relationships across the IT organization · Ability to translate project deliverables to operational tasks Knowledge and Skills Requirements: · Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills · Very good understanding of the customer strategy, services and business processes · Ability to work and team effectively with IT Services groups and other management personnel including on a global, virtual basis · Knowledge of service transition methodology, tools and templates · Track record of customer focus, based on openness, trust, and delivering on promises · Experience across packaged and bespoke systems and infrastructure, ideally on an international basis · IT background with experience across the systems development life cycle with experience in different project phases · Excellent written and verbal communication skills – must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing · Demonstrates commitment to IT methodologies, processes and standards for transition planning and support Supervision Responsibilities: · Direct supervision provided by the M&C Transition Lead; frequency on a weekly or as needed basis · Transition Manager is expected to act independently to deliver to schedule, budget and scope; support provided as required and requested, and is self-driven and motivated Other Requirements: · National and international travel may be required Education: · A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; or equivalent work experience Experience: · 10 years in a corporate IT environment · 3 to 5 years experience in *transition management or related process management field (application development, change management, deployment or release management)* · Work experience in a professional services industry, preferred Certification Requirements: · * ITILv3 Expert qualified preferred* * · ITILv3 Service Transition Lifecycle Qualified is advantageous · Project management certification is advantageous (PMI/CAPM or PMP, PRINCE2)* *Thanks & Regards* *Mike Michon*, Agile Enterprise Solutions Inc., Ensuring Client's Success Ph: 630-315-9541 Fax: (630) 206-2397 Email: *mike_mic...@aesinc.us.com* <mike_mic...@aesinc.us.com> Web: *www.agilees.com <http://www.agilees.com>* Gtalk/YIM:" mikeagilees " Note: If you have received this mail in error or prefer not to receive such emails in the future, please reply with "REMOVE" in the subject line and the email id(s) to be removed.
