*Project Location* *Northridge, CA * *Duration* *6+ Months Contract* *Interview Process: Phone + Skype* *Visa: USC, GC* *Job Description**:* *BS Degree in Engineering and 5+ years of experience required* ***Test Method Validations, Test Fixtures and SolidWorks* ***Failure Analysis and Reliability in Medical/FDA is HUGE* *****ALL jobs must be 3+ years to show they have been through the full life cycle of product testing* *These candidate must have Reliability and Failure Analysis experience, strong longevity 3+ years at each job, good to have experience with Test Fixtures, Test method Validations, and CAD.* *1. Failure analysis (FA) of returned pumps.* a. Replicate reported symptoms from the field and determine rootcause(s) of failures. b. Provide feedback of design/process defects to R&D and Ops. c. Improve FA tools/processes. d. Improve defect coding accuracy from Helpline to FA. *2*. Reduce test escapes - design tests to catch product defects during development instead of our customers finding them first. *3.* Research and develop simulated/accelerated aging test protocols to quickly and accurately determine long term reliability of design under simulated/accelerated field use conditions. *4*. Provide design for reliability/testability inputs to supplier, RI, R&D, and Ops during development. *5*. Participate in development of design requirements to ensure requirements meet customer needs and can be effectively verified. • **Test Engineering background but also heavy focus on Reliability and Failure Analysis • We are focusing on people with experience in Test Method Validations, Test Fixtures, and a familiarity with SolidWorks.
