This is a position in Quality Assurance responsible for leading the
development and execution of performance and automation testing solutions
for. This position works with management to apply automation strategy and
to plan and execute effective and efficient performance and automation
testing to accomplish on-time and efficient delivery of high-quality
software products and/or data in a Big Data environment.
Plan and execute automated and performance tests working with QA/Testing
staff, project managers, technical leads, and subject matter experts.

   - Report issues and results, researching and identifying root causes as
   appropriate, documenting accordingly.
   - Research available tools and participate in initiatives to implement
   those that will cost-effectively enhance testing capabilities and data
   quality.
   - Identify opportunities to apply existing automation or other tools to
   meet testing needs.
   - Research and identify root causes of performance issues in partnership
   with architects, developers, and network and system engineers.

Prior experience working with system tools and methodologies which deals
with big data testing tools and processes.

*Skills:*
Experience with Big Data, Hadoop, Proven experience in QA automation.
Some experience experience with mid-back-end QA development/ETL
Java skills must
*Operating systems (Linux/Unix) MUST*
*Experience testing with Hadoop and Hadoop app scripting*
12+ months experience with the Hadoop stack (Pig, Hive, Spark etc), unix
experience
5 or more years in Unix systems engineering
Knowledge of NoSQL platforms such as Hbase, Mongo or Cassandra is a bonus
