Our client is looking for *Linux/AIX System Administrator* in *West
Chester, PA*


Position: Linux/AIX system Administrator

Location: West Chester, PA


*Required Experience:*

•          At least 5 years of experience in Linux (Redhat 6.5 & 7)/AIX
Administration.

o   (The majority of the of the work is going to be in the Linux (Redhat
6.5/Redhat 7) Administration)

•          Required Skills:

•          Strong knowledge of Linux/AIX operating system including
scripting, deployment automation, and general system administration.

•          Strong knowledge of networking and networking protocols.

•          Strong knowledge of virtual environments.

•          Strong knowledge of Satellite for RHEL patching.

•          Ability to solve problems quickly and automate processes.

•          Ability to quickly find solutions to unfamiliar problems
(research skills).

•          Knowledge of security practices (PCI-DSS).

•          Ability to follow change controls and security procedures.

•          Analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot system
problems.

•          Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

•          Willing to work off-hours in an on-call schedule as needed.
Off-hours work will most likely be required.

•          Ability to think outside the box for solutions.

•          Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work.

•          Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.



*The following Preferred (not required):*

•          Virtualization - VMWare vSphere - VCP certified or relevant work
experience.

•          Compute - Cisco UCS Blade servers or IBM P Series.

•          Fluency in advanced troubleshooting skills, methodologies and
processes experience with a converged Infrastructure Platform (Cisco UCS).
