Job Description: Job Title: AWS Lead Location: Hillsboro, OR Duration: 6+ months Rate : Depends on Experience Qualifications Basic Ø Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider one year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education Ø At least 6 years of experience in Information Technologies. Mandatory Technical Skills Ø Skills: Python, Spark, Map Reduce, Hive, Pig, HBase, Sqoop Ø Hands on experience in Python & Spark Ø At least 2 years’ Hands-on experience in the Big Data eco-system (HDFS, Map Reduce, Hive, HBase, etc.) Ø Experience working on large datasets Ø Working experience with large scale Hadoop environments, build and support design for ingesting large data sets into Hadoop ecosystems, validating \ enriching the data, and distributing significant amounts of that data to SQL and to other applications. Preferred Ø Real Time Event Processing experience using lambda functions in AWS Ø Exposure to EMR, Air flow Ø In-depth understanding of database and analytics technologies in the industry including MPP, Relational, and NOSQL databases. Ø GitHub, and Jenkins based deployment is desirable Ø Experience in solving complex and large-scale data challenges involving AWS architecture, Cloud migration, AWS EMR, Redshift Ø Experience in Data Analysis, Data Migration, Data Cleansing, Transformation, Integration, Data Import, and Data Export through the use of multiple ETL tools Ø Business intelligence expertise and technical skills to successfully deliver Business Intelligence solutions based on Cloud Platform. Ø Experience in software development life cycle, Agile\SCRUM methodology Ø Experience on Platform Design & Administration will be an added advantage. Ø Should be able to work in team environment and have client interfacing skills Ø Experience in Retail, CPG and Logistics Domain. Ø Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
