Here is the job description: Title: Web Analytics Location: Philadelphia, PA Duration: 2 months * * *Description:* Position Description *Job Responsibilities/Project Details * Consultant should have experience with OMNITURE. Looking for a consultant with experience with a technical implementation of a web analytics tracking tool, must have very good communications skills, must communicate with the Executive or Product Owner to understand what they want from a product or feature of a product, what they want to measure, then to translate that into Javascript code which will then be given to their engineers who then put it on the web page on HTML or Flash. Need to gather information about how long a customer is on a web page, how they got there, what time of day it was etc. All this information must be captured in OMNITURE.* * * * The ideal candidate will be a bright, clear-thinking, collaborative problem solver who demonstrates an understanding of the business of online media, an ability to translate business needs into analytics code that can be communicated to CIM’s Development and Quality Assurance teams. * * *The candidate’s specific responsibilities will be to:* · Work cross-functionally to ensure all analytics tools are implemented correctly across CIM (Omniture SiteCatalyst, Quantcast, Google Analytics) · Ensure that measurement requirements are satisfied by managing both the process and implementation of all web analytics tags (JavaScript) for each product release · Ensure that exceptionally high data quality standards are maintained throughout CIM and Comcast as a whole · Work with internal business customers to define reporting requirements · Provide training on how to interpret and use data for business analysis · Responsible for creation of implementation instruction documents to be delivered to website developers so that analytics code can be properly implemented on websites.
